Generally, we would discuss your needs in an initial free consultation to determine the scope of the work and agree on a plan of action. We would also determine whether there were any potential “conflicts” resulting from my representation, past or present, of other parties involved in your transaction. Assuming there were none, we would then confirm the terms of your hiring of me, including billing rate and scope of work, in writing. As of 2009 my billing rate is generally $250 per hour.

Note: I provide legal services as a “sole practitioner” and not through Pegasus Ventures, which is involved in real estate development, brokerage, and investment services.
